  The Australian government proclaims its willingness to go to war with a nuclear power over Taiwan. Meanwhile, in Myanmar, the junta's troops just killed thirty eight people in the course of a massacre of members of the Karenni ethnic majority. If we aren't prepared to take any serious action faced with actual literal genocide and crimes against humanity going on right now conducted by a regime much weaker both militarily and economically than the People's Republic of China why should anyone believe we'd go to war with China over Taiwan?
